I am redesigning the cover for Mark Ronson’s Late Night Feelings album, inspired by the songs’ blend of emotions such as heartbreak, flirtation, sexual tension, and joy, capturing the essence of late-night experiences.
My design features a seamless transition across the front and back covers. The front depicts a man returning home after work, where a spotlight symbolizes his safe space to be himself, guiding him into a peaceful forest. The back cover shifts the spotlight to a disco ball, representing his personal party room, a space to relax and unwind. This reinterpretation retains the iconic disco ball from the original cover while offering a fresh, conceptual take on the album’s themes. It was a rewarding experience to craft this visual combo to resonate with the music’s emotional depth.
